Cool Nerd in the Making
Jack’s parents are a couple of self-proclaimed geeks. Many of their friends are, too, so Jack doesn’t stand much of a chance. For his 6-month photos, Jack’s sporting some awesome outfits that proudly display his nerd status. Thanks to “Uncle Bob”, “Aunt B”, and Aunt Amanda for the duds! High school band, Star Trek, and drama club, here he comes…
Snow Day
I don’t remember the last time we had such a big snowfall here in Middle Tennessee. Anyone from north of us will be balking at the measly dusting we got, but for us, 4 inches of snow is a Big Deal. Unfortunately, Jack isn’t really old enough to appreciate it, but we decided to take him out for a walk in the woods anyway, all wrapped up in his bunting that makes him look like a big blue teddy bear. Ah, the things we make our kids wear before they have their own say…
As we all know, though, the true joy of a snow day is hanging out in bed in your pajamas. After a nice warm bath, Jack got on some PJs, had a snack, and played on the bed with Daddy. Hurray for snow days!
